Welcome to our new website that launched on Friday, September 27, 2019

The website is a work in progress, an overhaul that was long overdue.  We are “focusing” no pun intended, towards 3-areas of expertise, families, high school seniors and business headshots. 

My wife has already informed me of the typos so we will be fixing them asap.

The goal is to capture images with a purpose. Our best work is planned. We talk with you about your ideas, pre-plan your photo session down to where you will be displaying the finished portrait, we discuss all the details so there won’t be any surprises. 

The Importance of the Print... A dilemma facing our children’s future is the lack of printed images. Years from now, your grandchildren will be going through the remnants of their parent’s past (your children), and they will find these neat looking round, silver disks containing photos of their parent’s childhood. Sadly, they won’t have any way of seeing or looking at the images. Even if the disc is in good condition, it’s unlikely that a machine will be around for them to view them. Think about how hard it is to view or convert the old movie film from yours and your parent’s past.

Fortunately for us, our parents made prints from our childhood. Prints last longer and are the easiest media to view. We believe it is the best way to preserve your family history.

Recently, my wife’s cousin told me that he and his wife had all of their children’s photos on his laptop. The unthinkable happened. His laptop was stolen, and along with it went baby photos and many other memories. All they have left are the few prints they had made. Another example of how prints are superior.

Don’t let someone try to convince you that you want a disc of your images. Insist on high quality prints. At Bruce Wilson Photography, all of our prints are the highest of quality and coated with UV inhibitors that act like a sunscreen to prolong their life.
